A couple of F1 shows are on BBC 4 tonight from 8pm until 10pm. One is on 60 years of F1 and the other is ‘Grand Prix: The Killer Years’ or something or other. Just thought I’d let you all know :)

The “Killer Years” is repeated at 02:00 on BBC4 later. Its very much worth a watch but il warn you now, it is hard to watch in places. If you havent seen the video of Von Trips & Roger Williamsons deaths then it can be a shock. But I personally felt compelled to watch it, a reminder of what F1 was like in years gone by and its not viewed with rose tinted specks.

Killer Years is essential viewing for anyone who complains that an obsession with safety has ruined F1.

Just watched The Killers Years. Fantastic, if extremely sobering, documentary. We should be extremely grateful that safety these days is so good.
