16th January 2011, 21:30 at 9:30 pm #158023TrueF1GritMemberI literally shed a tear when Lightening gave up his win in Pixar’s Cars to give the King an honourable exit. So yeah, Cars all the way.

Who can forget Drivel…sorry, Driven for its laughable awfulness?
16th January 2011, 21:41 at 9:41 pm #158025AnonymousInactivehehe i allways loved the Mini coopers in the Italian Job
16th January 2011, 22:28 at 10:28 pm #158026Ned FlandersParticipantI watched Cars back when I was at school. Or, I watched the first half- I never did find out what happened to Owen Wilson after he got sent on car community service (although being a kiddies film it will have been a happy ending no doubt)
16th January 2011, 22:33 at 10:33 pm #158027Ned FlandersParticipantOh, and what about this!…

Fast and Furious series

Grand Prix is a bit twee, but has some great footage and as far as F1 films go it’s the best we have at the moment. Le Mans is good too, but can be a bit of a marathon to watch at time. The French ‘Taxi’ films are a laugh and well worth watching on a rainy afternoon.
Vanishing Point is one of my favourites – that Dodge Challenger is uber cool.
I could literally go on for pages about my favourite car films…I won’t bore you all though!
17th January 2011, 9:56 at 9:56 am #158032jihelleParticipant– Grand Prix
– Le Mans
– The Speed Merchants (non fiction, best movie about racing ever)
– A man and a Woman (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alQXaZDtsxk)
The actor, Jean-Louis Trintignant, is Maurice Trintignant’s nephew and was a good driver himself.
– Bobby Deerfield (some good racing scenes and these Brabham-Alfa were superb)
– The Great Race (yeah, I know but I love watching it with the kids)
I like real cars, so no cartoons in my personal best.

17th January 2011, 13:51 at 1:51 pm #158034SteveMovieVoiceParticipantI find it funny that the F1 champ in Talladega nights is shown leading with a Minardi. Jean Girard: Formula uuuuu.
