I like Kubica’s, but I wish it hadn’t been just to belnd in with the Renault colours.

I’ve always liked Hamilton’s and I think Alonso’s change has been for the better. Jenson’s really fits in with the McLaren, but not on purpose (good). And it’s always good to see the red of Schumacher’s back.

Can’t say I like Chandhok’s or Glock’s though!

I’m pretty sure Jaime was sporting a new helmet yesterday? Before it was yellow and red but this one looked to have gold on. Does anyone know if it has changed or if I’m going mad? Tommy you’re an STR fan, give me some help here! :P

Chandhok’s looks cool and simple from the right angles.

But I do, as always, like Barrichello’s slightly Williams-ified Helmet. It’s ultra simple and goes with the car really well.

He does (though it depends upon your definition of “fun”): the Two of Hearts and the Four of Spades (because he’s number 24) with the slogan Any hand can win – it all depends on the player.

Nico’s is probably my least favourite design of the year. It did look nice but making the blue grey to match the Mercedes is the biggest fail ever.

Button’s helmet is by far the best – colourful, bright, stands out, means something. Overly complicated designs may look impressive in still shots but they’re useless in-race for distinguishing drivers. Ayrton Senna has a great design for a helmet, thankfully nobody’s been lazy or unimaginative enough to just copy it.

Alguersari’s helmet is a great example of why Red Bull shouldn’t be allowed to run 4 cars – they all look the same, and having a helmet that matched the livery of the 4 cars is even worse. Bad call.

Red Bull’s helmets are all very different actually, Alguersuari’s is yellow and Buemi’s is red.

The two helmets that are the hardest to tell apart from team mates is Hulkenberg and Barrichello.

I was a bit disappointed by Vettel’s helmet design this year, I like it, I just don’t like it as much as I did with some of his ’09 ones. Alguersuari’s is nice though, and I like the slickness of Jenson’s. And I love Vettel’s Monaco one that Steph posted earlier :)

I like JBs, the way it is the country’s flag and his initials is so creative. I liked it better when it was fluoro yellow and black though. I quite like the blue colour on Alonso’s too. It also repesents his flag, not of his country but of his home county in Spain, so I guess if you want a good helmet design use your flag. DC had a simple and effective saltire before Redbull ruined it with Bull logos.

I’m not a fan of when drivers change their helmet design to suit their team. Button particularly annoyed me as his helmet was so clever and creative that making it the rather odd combination of high-vis yellow and white (odd as in those colours, obviously I know it was Brawn) rather defeated the purpose of the Union Flag design in his helmet which I love. (Even though I don’t love Button)
