In Qualifying this season,McLaren were not only renowned as Red Bull’s closest rivals but also for their interesting colour schemes used for their Drivers’ race suits,For a new Race suit for 2012? Sponsors? Anyone know why? Anyway which overall was your favourite for the season? Since they’ve set the benchmark for the most changes of Race suits in a Season.Cheers!!!

It was a Hugo Boss competition I think. Fans had to design the overalls using a website and McLaren/Hugo Boss would pick the best design and the drivers would use them in quali.

There was an article in this month’s F1 Racing about them, and that they are all being auctioned for charity if you do like one you can buy one!

They were all pretty Vile from what I can remember, especially those ‘orrible ones with the Purple on them! BLURRRRRGHHH!

@keithcollantine I concur on the Chinese GP overalls. Not knowing about the Hugo Boss competition, I was surprised to see them wearing red on Saturday and immediately thought of the old Marlboro McLaren colours and overalls.
