Just remembered this topic and thought I could write a bit about 2011, and how it was so much better than 2010 in this respect.
There were two races with proper fights for victory in 2010. In 2011, pretty much every race was either dominated by Vettel or had an awesome scrap for first place.
Races in China, Spain, Monaco, Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Hungary had great battles for the lead, so there were, by my reckoning, 7 proper fights for victory in 2011! Hopefully we have as many in 2012 as well.
