Yeah the poll was close but I think Jenson is also very under rated.

I think Hamilton is a great driver and I thought signing Button was a huge mistake. I was wrong about Button, he has proven his worth to the team. I think Hamilton has a lot more raw talent but Button is a better rounded driver.
Hamilton has never had to driver for a “Also Ran Team”, he has always been in one of the best cars in the field so he has never had to learn had to make due with a car mid pack car more than a few races. Button has had to endure a mid pack, and worst, car and this help to develop his character which I think is lacking in Hamilton.

Never mind Lewis, I think Jenson is the best driver on the grid at the moment. He’s a much better driver than he was in 2009 and still improving. His ability in changing conditions is phenomenal. He delivers blistering pace looks after his tyres, and his overtaking is sublime. The way he used the DRS zone at Spa last year and passing Lewis and Shuey at the same time at Monza were highlights for me.

It may be a stretch saying he is the best on the grid, he is definitely up there and has carried on his momentum from 2011 and he is in the form of his life. I think Seb maybe just ahead of him and he drove a great race, crucial for him was getting past Checco early which lewis didn’t do which didn’t help when the Sc came out. But i think right jenson is better than lewis, i think lewis is still quicker overall and more agressive particularly over a single lap which JB needs top sort out if he wants to win the WDC he wont be front row of grid every race. But I just think JB is all round better, he is calmer can certainly overtake and knows the cars limits, there are some LH fanboi’s on the SKy forum saying he is boring and it is only because of the stupid tyres, its not accept it JB is world class so is LH but right now JB has the upper hand and i think overall is better because he uses his talents to the full whereas LH may have more skills but he doesn’t use them as well. JB 4 me.

How things have turned around in these past few months. Hamilton scoring 49 points in the last 5 races compared to Jensons 6 points. Right now I don’t think there is any way to argue for Button. He has been constantly off the pace and failing to score any large points where as Lewis is clearly happy with where he is or at least comfortable in the car even if he is longing for upgrades. Whether it is Button himself, Massaesque Set-up issues or tyre trouble (The second seeming by far the most likely) it needs to be sorted out and fast if he has any hope of another title.

To me, it feels like order it restored in the world again. I do not know what got into Jenson last season to pull out performances like he did, and it felt unnatural to see Jenson beat Lewis.

This season it looks like Jenson is back to the form I’ve always expected of him – Below average performances and constant moaning abut how he couldn’t setup his machinery
