They basically showed what everybody saw… footage from SKY F1 and how Horner “didn´t know” if they were on the same map settings, he said something like ” I don´t know, that is something that we are gonna have to look into” or something like that.
Webber on the podium saying he was told to turn the engine down, yada, yada, yada.
And before you say something to fuel the debate, I have no interest in engaging with anybody in this discussion, it´s like beating a dead horse. That guy didn´t lie or say anything to change the way people thought about SV, he was just stating facts which were conveniently swept under the rug and from what I´ve seen, the guy got banned so I will choose to tread lightly because it seems that criticisim is not looked well upon here.
I just find it terrible that the other guy called him names and was very aggresive defending his “point” and has continued to be aggressive with a lot of people that have dared to comment on this thread (that by the way should´ve been closed a long time ago) and has gotten away with a lot of things. He basically turned this thread into his personal crusade to defend Vettel´s “honor”.
This is a forum, it should be free to debate over things in a civilized manner without any name calling no matter how wrong anybody can be. You should be able to take criticism, may it be good or bad. I just think that to call somebody a liar, uneducated or what not, should be totally unacceptable even if it is in order to get his “point” across. Maybe the guy was not versed enough to discuss it in a better way but that is not an excuse to treat him like some kind of retard. Anybody can look up things in the web and sound more intelligent than they really are and it really doesn´t make them more intelligent!
I sincerely do not want to be a part of this discussion anymore, I just felt I needed to answer you @matt90. It´s just sad the lengths some things get to!
