When Qually is dry all drivers in the top ten have to start on the tires they used in Q3. How will that rule be affected for tonight’s race if it’s dry at the start given they qualified on extreme wets?

@nathaniel73 – The drivers are allowed to start the race on whichever tyre compound they choose. This happened at Silverstone as well; wet qualifying, with a dry race. Alonso and Webber were on the front row, but where Alonso started the race on the harder prime tyre, Webber chose the softer option.

Yeah, the rule is only for when dry tyres are used both in qualy and the race.
