    @GeeMac the reason you are defending him? I think now people find out how it’s difficult to replace Massa.

    @Eggry I’m just amazed that everytime I seem to mention Massa these days I’m defending him…I’m not a fan of his at all, so it surprises me!

    Fisichella for sure.

    I’m taking this thread as a compliment to Massa as noone can really find a suitable candidate to replace him so he can’t be all bad! :P

    I wouldn’t go that far Steph! It’s not to soon for Yamamoto to come fprward with his millions and ask for a drive!

    Perez, part of the Ferrari driver academy.

    If he continues to give performances like he did in Australia, he will be in Ferrari next year.

    I like Perez but he’s only had one race. Petrov impressed on occassion last year but then the next race he was off the pace or in the wall. I think it’s too soon to be talking of a Ferrari drive for him

    @steph

    Oh indeed, far too early to talk as regarding his future, with so many races left for the season. But it was a good start none the less, which i’m sure you would agree.

    Yeah I definitely agree he put in a brilliant performance and I hope he can keep it up.

    I think there’s nobody apart from Hulkenberg that can go at Ferrari. Webber is old, Fisichella is old, Perez is young, Bianchi isn’t in F1 yet. I believe in 2012 the Ferrari line-up will be Massa-Alonso. If Massa proves really bad then Ferrari will want someone to replace him, otherwise they’ll keep him and maybe in 2013 new driver moves will allow the Scuderia to make a solid choice.

    My bad, I thought the FI tech deal was with Mclaren.

    Another question is… where would/could Massa go?

  • Profile picture of Calum Calum said 2 years, 1 month ago:

    Nico Rosberg is the only decent candidate for speed, wages and not fast enough for Alonso that would go to Ferrari.

    Grosjean? I know he’s already played no.2 to Alonso and that’s probably the reason he couldn’t prove himself to maintain a drive, but he has a little experience and has proved very adaptable and fast in the past year.

    Adrian Sutil. He’s the one due to switch now, and I think he’d do good at a top team.
