    I think your right Welshf1. Most if not all of the GP2 teams take part in both series and the combined calander isn’t that much different to the F1 calander. So in theory the overall cost wouldn’t be that much more compared to what it costs now.

    It’ll be interesting to see the GP2 series if F1 gets more races in the Americas, so that there’ll be Canada, US, Brazil, and possibly Mexico, Venezuela, and Argentina on the calendar. GP2 Americas Series? I don’t know, a rather ludicrous idea, but it depends on F1′s global expansion.
