Worst Driver: Kobayashi
Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: Mercedes – AWFUL! And Sauber weren’t far off either, this weekend…
Best Overtake: Alonso on Hamilton and Button on the run to turn 4 in lap 1 – although it didn’t stick
Best Funny-moment: “it’s all hot, Narain, it’s all very hot”
Most Surprising Result: Hamilton not dropping out of contention / Senna grabbing a point
Least Surprising Result: guess…
Special Mention to: Vettel, Massa, Hulkenberg, Grosjean. And De La Rosa – it must take some guts to step in that no-brakes death-trap of an HRT every other weekend.

Worst Driver: Maldonado – looked a bit ragged
Best Team: Red Bull. The usual, plus an awesome 2.6s pit stop
Worst Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Alonso’s dummy and last-minute switch while getting past Webber, completely unnecessary and all the better for it.
Best Funny- moment: The little dance before the podium ceremony – a bit surreal
Most Surprising Result: Alonso – I thought Webber and at least one McLaren would beat him.
Least Surprising Result: Finger boy
Special Mention to: Senna and the McLaren steering-wheel guy

Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: David Coulthard
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Jake Humphrey, smugly going through the motions again
Best Commentary moment: DC “in their game of chicken, he’ll…what does a chicken do?”
World feed rating: 7/10 Nice replays of flobbery tyres, great sense of speed round the middle of the lap. We didn’t see much from the helicopter-wallah, I guess the smog got too thick to see…28th October 2012, 18:56 at 6:56 pm #213825David-AParticipantBest Driver: Vettel

Race Rating: 7/1028th October 2012, 20:05 at 8:05 pm #213827MadsParticipantBest Driver: Vettel
Worst Driver: Schumacher.. please.. that was just horrible to watch.
Best Team: Red Bull. Good strategy, great pitstop, a mishap with Webber’s KERS but other then that, they were spot on.
Worst Team: Mercedes. What on earth are going on with those guys?
Best Overtake: Senna on Maldonardo. But that isn’t saying much. There were probably only, what 2 or 3 real overtakes? The rest were just DRS highway style.
Best Funny- moment: Webber pushing Vettel to Parc Fermé.
Most Surprising Result: Hmm… I have no idea. Pic probably.
Least Surprising Result: Vettel.
Special Mention to: Hamilton for doing okay considering it wasn’t the easiest race for the McLaren boys.
Race Rating: 4/10 Just plain old fashioned dull.
—
World feed rating: 8/10 probably, but watching it on RTL makes it feel more like -10000/10. 5 commercial brakes before the halfway point. All of which were located right as something just slightly exciting was about to happen.28th October 2012, 20:36 at 8:36 pm #213828DaveF1ParticipantBest Driver: Vettel or Alonso, can’t decide :/
Worst Driver: Perez
Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Alonso on the McLarens, even if he only passed one.
Best Funny- moment: Narains shenanigans
Most Surprising Result: Williams back in the points
Least Surprising Result: Another Vettel lights to flag victory
Special Mention to: Hulkenberg, Grosjean and Senna
Race Rating: 4/10 – I’d probably be banned if I said what really feel about the race and the circuit.28th October 2012, 21:41 at 9:41 pm #213829PieLighterParticipantBest Driver: Alonso
Worst Driver: Checo
Best Team: Red Bull
Worst Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Senna on Maldonado
Best Funny- moment: DC: “In a game of chicken…”
Most Surprising Result: Checo binning it
Least Surprising Result: Finger boy’s lights-to-flag win
Special Mention to: McLaren’s pit crew – 3.3 second stop for Hamilton, AND a steering wheel change, was masterful.
Race Rating: Can’t rate, couldn’t access Sky Go so I watched BBC highlights after seeing the result.28th October 2012, 21:44 at 9:44 pm #213830RagingInfernoParticipantBest Driver: Vettel – Pole and the win, hard to argue with that.
Worst Driver: Kobayashi – A long way off his teammate all weekend.
Best Team: Red Bull – Newey really has found the sweet spot with this car now, Alonso is going to be hard pushed to keep up.
Worst Team: Mercedes – No points again really isn’t good enough for a team that should be challenging for podiums.
Best Overtake: Grosjean on Rosberg (I think) – Sold him the dummy and then went round the outside, very nice.
Best Funny- moment: Crofty and Brundle arguing over who was to blame for the Maldonado / Kobayashi incident.
Most Surprising Result: Alonso 2nd – I didn’t think he’d be able to split the Bulls, though Webber’s KERS failure did help.
Least Surprising Result: Vettel winning.
Special Mention to: Hamilton for a solid race and Hulkenburg for once again outshining his teammate.
Race Rating: 5/1028th October 2012, 23:52 at 11:52 pm #213831ShaneB457ParticipantBest Driver: Senna – Performed some nice overtakes and had good pace.
Worst Driver: Vergne – Yet again fell out in Q1 and got tangled up with Schumacher into the first corner.
Best Team: Red Bull undoubtedly. Their car is now in a league of its own compared to Mclaren or Ferrari thanks to Newey. Also their pitstops were very quick.. Vettel’s was 2.6 seconds if I’m not mistaken which is fast indeed.
Worst Team: I would say Lotus and Mercedes. Both have slipped way back in development from where they were. Lotus also made the mistake of putting a short 7th gear on Kimi’s car, which meant he was stuck behind Massa for the entire race.
Best Overtake: Senna on Rosberg.
Best Funny- moment: Webber pushing Vettel into parc ferme.
Most Surprising Result: Nothing was out of the ordinary.
Least Surprising Result: Do I have to say?
Special Mention to: Webber – Did well to fend off Hamilton after his kers failure.
Race Rating: 2/10 – Dont know why people are rating it so high. It was absolutely dire. Race was over after turn 3 and all of the overtakes were because of DRS.

Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Giedo Van Der Garde – co-commentator for radio 5 live alongside James Allen. I thought he was brilliant and enjoyed listening to everything he said.Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Ben Edwards. I liked his commentary for the BTCC but I dont think he suits F1. He makes F1 sound like a horse race..
Best Commentary moment: Cant think of anything..
World feed rating: 10/10 – We didnt miss anything but that was hardly difficult in what was an absolute shocker of a race.

Worst Team: Mercedes
Best Overtake: Senna on Maldonado
Best Funny Moment: Rocky stealing Vettel’s catchphrase on team radio
Most Surprising Result: McLaren thrashed by Alonso
Least Surprising Result: Vettel’s lights-to-flag domination
Special Mentions to: Sebastian Vettel for his near-faultless weekend, McLaren Pit Crew for their awesome 5-wheel pitstop, Nico Hulkenberg for a strong showing
