Lewis Hamilton has said, post race: I spoke to Fernando and Sergio afterwards and they had lots of understeer whereas I had lots of oversteer.
“Maybe I’m setting the car up too aggressively, so I might make some changes for the next two races.
Was that the whole quote? I heard Hamilton saying just a couple of weeks ago that he always prefers oversteer in his cars to understeer, presumably because it suits his driving style.
Anyway, what do you think about this, @mclaren ? When starting a topic on these forums, it’s good if you can encourage some sort of debate :)
Nowadays though it’s relatively easy to adjust the balance in parc ferme – you can make front wing changes, you can change the diff. etc.
