Disappointing to see Jaguar will not produce the C-X75 supercar it developed in co-operation with Williams.

Eighteen months ago Jaguar said there was ‘a clear business case’ for the car and that ‘no other vehicle will better signify Jaguar’s renewed confidence and excellence in technological innovation than this’. Today the line is ‘the company’s view is that the global economic landscape does not currently support the introduction of a supercar such as C-X75’.

Jaguar need to focus on their saloons more than a hybrid supercar. In the next few years they’ll launch the BMW 3 Series rival they have so badly needed.

x75 concept should be proved in racing environment. Shame FIA has so strict rules. Still, Le Mans’ “Garage 56” is an option.

Well that’s boring news. Seeing as the F-Type doesn’t excite me all that much, I was really looking forward to this.
