What we don’t see, or it is difficult to obtain all the data, is what percentage of TV viewers are watching F1, compared to all the other channels. Especially when, except for Canada and Brazil, F1 is not on at peak viewing times. It would also be of interest to see all the figures for all the other Sundays.
I’m pretty sure that if the F1 race wasn’t on then several million people wouldn’t even have the TV switched on.
And as far as I am aware, they don’t include the figures of those that watch live on-line.
Also a question, as the BBC broadcast is relayed to other countries, do the BBC not receive payment for their services.
