heard the main man yesterday, reporting on final score, think it was the villa game, he wasnt bad, much better than in f1
Oh wow really? He does seem like he would suit football much more. Or Horse Racing…

Although he can’t tell cars apart let alone Jockeys.
He used to do football all the time on 5Live when i was younger……I remember being surprised when he turned on f1!! He never seemed a bad racing commentator on the radio strangely enough, but was pretty rubbish on TV.
So it is him then! I noticed the name a few times on ‘final score,’ but his voice sounded differant, probably ’cause he wasn’t shouting at me across my living room!
To be fair if he was commentating on Villa, there isn’t an awful lot to get excited about at the minute! :P
He is indeed much better at reporting on football than F1. Probably because he is explaing what has happened and thus can’t get overexcited, as he is prone to doing whilst commentating on live events
