When Coulthard comes in to give his opinions and when he was at the “Mission control” if I had to hear that for 90 minutes i’d be inclined to hit the drink.

Rather ironically, as I was scrolling down the screen froze when I reached DC’s chin. Seems it was too much for Chrome!

You know, the the MB/DC partnership ends up working, the BBC will have pulled off a real coup. After all, we’ve already had a mention of John Watson, what’s to say Coulthard won’t deliver? We’ve never seen him in commentating mode.

Anyway I think Brundle being lead commentator is too much, I mean his gridwalk will undoubtedly be cut short to give him time to compose himself for his pre-race speech and just generally talking as a lead commentator isn’t for him.

As for Coulthard I think he will be a bit like James Hunt, coming in not that often but providing precise informative info.

At least he seems to have taken on board what people have said about him, maybe he can reflect and go into a sport more suited to him.

Goodbye Jonathan (That is the first time I haven’t referred to him as Legard).

EJ is awful, he can’t even phrase the questions or comments he is trying to ask/make in an intelligble sentence! Then he goes of ono a tangent halfway through the sentence and forgets where he started! He is like a babbling babboon!

Thank the maker that they didn’t make DC LEAD commentator, his reports from the McLaren mission control were truly awful!

Well you know what, I reckon i’ll be giving Brundle and Coulthard the first few races. Apparently Crofty didn’t want to leave 5Live as he and his producers enjoy a certain amount of independce to act differently, hence the stream of guests, the musical bits, don’t know what the truth of that is though.

I’ll probably stick with Crofty tbh, but I’m all for giving Brundle another go. Maybe it was just Legard rubbing of on him but he really started to irritaite me last season.
