Worst Team: Force India
Best Overtake: Sebastian Vettel on Webber
Best Funny-moment: Lewis Hamilton’s garage moment, of course
Most Surprising Result: Fernando Alonso’s retirement
Least Surprising Result: Sebastian Vettel winning
Special Mentions to: Nico Rosberg for his ‘multi 21′ lol, Nico Hulkenberg, Jean-Eric Vergne, Jenson Button, Jules Bianchi
Race Rating: 8/10
Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Both Suzi Perry (BBC) and Simon Lazenby (Sky) did solid jobs today. Am I the only one who really thinks Simon is starting to come into his own in his presenting role now? His hesitation sometimes last season was a little annoying for me and many others, but now he seems much more relaxed and confident. Most importantly for me, he doesn’t waffle on like Jake Humphry did and gets on with letting everyone else speak.
As for Suzi, clearly her previous presenting experience in Moto GP is paying off for the BBC. I thought the opening clip was pretty cool, and the lack of all the “let’s go racing” cheesy rubbish from last week was a big help.
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Can’t say really, no-one did a bad job
Best Commentary moment: Can’t remember much off the top of my head.
World feed rating: 8/10 – balanced the two battles at the front pretty nicely, but would have been nice to see more of the Vettel move on Webber rather than some inevitable pass by Rosberg.
