My guess would be of either Blackberry as one of their major sponsors, or the fact that a shiny black background is behind the Mercedes logo in the majority, if not, all of their recent commercials (especially in Australia).

I’m getting fed up with all these teaser images/videos.Well, the rear wing is mounted on double struts, just like the Ferrari and the Sauber and unlike the McLaren, the Lotus and the Williams.
That much we know.
Well it’s not like they haven’t used black before, just seems like a lot of the car this year will be.

Looks like that picture of the W05 that was floating around the net last week was right about the F14 T like nose. I’m also a little surprised they gave this much away of the engine cover and roll hoop, but I’m loving the aggressive roll hoops and air intakes this year!
Let’s hope the Schumi hashtag will be a get well soon message by Melbourne..
@calum – Those are probably the Camera pods. I believer they have to be at a certain height. If the nose is similar to the F14T (LaDave) then they would need to be mounted above the nose.
