he’s never done as well while he was with her! too much distraction and racing with his ego. I actually think he should try it with rihanna now..him and her seemed to be getting on very well together!

After reading these three paragraphs of this AUTOSPORT article, I finally understood why Lewis left Nicole:

No seriously, Lewis needs to find himself again, he was a great driver, not saying he’s lost his talent, just his mindset. I think being himself for a while will help him find direction.

Am I the only one thinking it is none of my bizz who Lewis snogs. She may be a blonde in disguise but that doesn’t mean that:
A) He didn’t/doesn’t love her
B) She didn’t/doesn’t love him
C) They weren’t happy-cheery together (even if just underneath the bedsheets)

Then again, I’m sure other drivers have romantic problems once in a while, break up, get dumped and still have to show up, do their job and try not let it get to their head.

My personal view on this matter is that it’s just another nail in the Jenson-is-better-than-you coffin of this season. It must feel to Lewis that he cannot do a single thing right while his team mate is riding on the highway to Bliss & Success with the pretty and loyal girl cheering by his side at every Grand Prix. Psychologically, it isn’t helping.
But from the F1 world perspective, I couldn’t care less. It’s no proper excuse.

Good point trix, I’ve noticed Jessica is the only girlfriend in f1 to attend every race, the same as motto gp where all girlfriends show up! nicole I think turned up once, and the kick in the teeth by his team m8 beating him must be havoc in his head, I wouldn’t. wana b him at the mo!!

Just to clarify something :
@sweetie Jessica is definitely one of the most mediatised girlfriends in F1. Other girlfriends/wives show up (not necessarily at every GP, mind you) but stay backstage, far away from the cameras and frenzy, and are very seldom seen.
