I have just watched the on board footage of the new mercedes car. I was wondering what everyone else thinks about having that drivers point of view in a race situation? I would love to see it

It would make sense to help understand the split second decsions that are made in wheel to wheel situations

I think it would be interesting in case of a collision to share this with the fans and viewers as sometimes third person can mess up the perspective. In wheel to wheel racing I’m afraid it won’t be that interesting as you most likely can’t even see the other car. Except for the occasional overtake around the outside of course.
