Earlier today the M20 was partially closed due to a fatal accident. There were significant tailbacks, and this is the second time in a month where a person has been fatally struck by a lorry on that part of the M20. Little did I know who it was!

Nigel Stepney, the former Ferrari mechanic who was at the centre of the 2007 Formula 1 ‘spygate’ scandal, has died.

The 56-year-old was involved in a road traffic accident in Kent in the early hours of Friday morning. Autosport

Gosh, sad news. How come there are so many lorry incidents happening?

Sad news, may he rest in peace. Despite his part in Spygate, probably one of the people who helped Ferrari be as successful as they were between 1999 and 2006.

oh wow, this is incredible news to hear. As Nick has said above, despite the spygate scandal, which will always remain a low point in his career in motorsport, he was quite a big influence in the Schumacher era at Ferrari.
My thoughts turn to his family and friends and I send them my condolences.
