Have you guys ever heard of the Peter Connew Motorsport Team ????? These were a couple of normal lads who made an F1 car on their own in the 1970s .

I think they all lost interest/ went bust with the possible exception of Brabham who might have been sold but cannot remember to whom.

Thanks for that link – never heard of the project before but a very interesting read. Its a shame that could never happen today, though HRT are trying!
