I cant seem to edit my post but I think I made a mistake
Oh, is it that Monza used to be the fastest track, until it was modified, then it was Spa, until that was modified, then it was the ‘Ring and now it’s Monza again?!
Well actually to make the sequence fit, it would be Silverstone as that was probably the fastest circuit in 1977 after they started going to the Hockenheimring…
@richevans123 @SamS @Master-firelee @Enigma @joshgeake Nope!
We were closer back on page five…
Le Mans ?
meh, I give up.
can you just tell us i dont think anybody is going to get this one
Is the answer Tony Blair?
No? Balls to it, spill the beans Keith! :D
Juan Oscar Galvez?
It had a reconfiguration for 1995, making it the last in the sequence. Also, it has held the least GP of them all (20, compared to Monza’s 61, Spa’s 44 and the Nurburgring’s 39).
Is it the circuits in order of age, the newest being Silverstone (built 1948), the ring was built just before the war, Spa just after, Monza in 1922.
Dijon, I think I read somewhere it was redesigned…
Pescara – Longest circuit to hold a grand prix. Would come next on the list after nurburgring?
Monza lost the banking in the 1960′s, Spa lost it’s old 14km section in the 1970′s, the Nurburgring moved to it’s current Grand Prix configuration sometime in the 1980′s or 1990′s. Hmm which makes me think Hockenheim? Although it has already been said. So perhaps Kylami when it returned in the early 1990′s? Perhaps “circuits which have been re-designed to reduce their original length by approximately 50%”?
