I’m active in surf life saving here in Aus. I used to row until a few years ago.

I then competed with these but they were a bit boring in comparison!

    Good fun though :)

I like allmost all the sports, but currently I compete in Thriatlon.
I take part in street races too. And I used to play football (the real one, with a ball played with the foots) with my town team.

I like to watch almost lots of sports: Football, Athletics, Handball, Cycling, Basketball, Volleyball.

TBH the fact that I’m only really that passionate about three sports is simply because I don’t let myself watch the others, my continued exsitence relys on me not getting Sky Sports, I find that almost any sport I watch for long enough to grasp the rules so compelling, would be up till 4 every morning watching bowls championships or something simularly banile. Loved the superbowl, an that was my first American Football experiance.

Do watch grand slam tennis though.

I sometimes watch figure skating, biathlon, bobsleigh or ski jumping – most probably just to fill the free time during the F1 winter break! I watch football only when either the World Cup or European Championship is going on. The Olympic games are worth watching, too. But nothing can even come close to F1. And I think I prefer DTM or WTCC to football, too.

When I was 15/16 I was quite into football. I had a season ticket at Valley Parade which I got for my 16th but I also got guitar so my interest in football dropped off significantly. F1 has reignited a major sporting interest for me and I have taken interest in football again to a degree but very much a casual viewer. I’m off to Elland Road this weekend for the second time since December and that’s always great.

I will watch almost any sport that’s on to be honest. My first love is football (Spurs fan) and i will watch any football – always try to make a point of watching the local team If I’m abroad anywhere and watch it in some form on TV every day near enough. I’m also mad keen on Cricket, NHL, Tennis, Golf, Snooker, Skiing and will watch almost any sport that’s on TV – the only sports I will turn off are rugby league, motorbike racing and any combat sports – they just don’t do it for me.

Shall we be honest and admit we dabble in WWE? ;)

If we’re excluding motorsports, then my favourite sport is swimming. I train twice a week (in fact I’ve still got damp hair from tonight’s session) and do galas every so often. My next one’s on April 2nd, and in the dim and distant past I represented England twice (winning gold medals on both occasions) and swam at the Special Olympics twice (got a gold medal at one and a silver at the other).

I also do some short walks, but have concluded that expedition walking isn’t my cup of tea (at least not if it means walking at half my natural dawdling speed and putting up with frayed tempers and no sleep!)

The only non-motorsport sports I watch with any kind of consistency are the major cluster events (things like the Olympics, Paralympics and Commonwealth Games). I support Jessica Ennis in heptathlon though because we were in university together (we didn’t get to meet as she was in a department half a mile away from mine, but I did get to proofread articles on some of her sporting achievements).
