Why haven’t we heard anything about a penalty to Alonzo for stopping on track ….. remember a few weeks ago hamilton getting sent to the back of the grid??
Because it doesn’t matter about the end of the race it’s only in Qualifying that this rule comes into play. Can’t remember who it was but someone won a race this year and parked up at the pitlane exit straight away
^ Rosberg, I think.
My vote goes to Maldonado Grosjean on Hamilton.
Actually, I change my vote. Raikkonen overtook someone in S3 – around the outside of the first fast left kink. It was a McLaren IIRC, though I don’t remember which.
Grosjean on Hamilton for me, followed closely by Alonso on Grosjean
Who else feels that, despite the circuit not being overtaking-friendly; it’s very exciting to see an overtake being pulled off at Valencia?
@Kingshark, I do. Bit like Monaco in that regard.
Grosjean on Hamilton
I actually thought Grosjean’s move on Maldonado at the start was pretty awesome. The onboard is available in the BBC’s highlights
Senna’s Greatest Race? – European Grand Prix at Donington 1993
I see a lot of nominations for Alonso on Grosjean but don’t miss his move on Webber as well – similar but with a big closing speed difference!
Also, Grosjean on Hamilton, particularly impressive given they were both on ten-lap-old tyres.
Grosjean on Hamilton on lap 10.
Raikkonen on Maldonado had me off my seat, but Grosjean on Hamilton was pretty cool too :)
Alonso was on supreme form all race. Grosjean is really starting to look a star and just what Kimi needs I think.
Alonso on Grosjean Alonso on Schumacher Grosjean on Hamilton
Grosjean on Hamilton without doubt. First to do it and exceptionally brave.
Grosjean on Hamilton was a very good move as both had tyres which were slowly going off the cliff and it was around the outside and on a slightly more dirtier line.
