Petrov has a lot of talent, that’s for sure. Good raw speed, great off the line, can overtake quite well. The one thing he hasn’t demonstrated is the ability to learn and improve – he’s been much the same all season. Hulkenberg on the other hand has improved – he’s ironed out the mistakes and seems to be getting better with every race. Still some way to go though, his temperament is poor.
I’d like to see both in a good race seat next year because they both deserve it. If Hulkenberg loses out because of money then that’ll be a shame.
