I was just at the race in Melbourne for the 3rd time and noticed that the local GP-radio feed that is broadcast around the ground didn’t have access to the pit radio feed. The commentators (Greg Rust and Bob Constanduros) had access as they were obviously listening/watching the Sky feed on Channel One or Ten but paused when they were listening to the pit radio to relay the message to the tens of thousands of people at the ground.

Surely buying a ticket to the ground should allow you access to the same feed that the media channels get? Or is Bernie really that stingy? (probably a rhetorical question)

What happens at other GP’s with the local commentary?
