Possible restoration of the RB Ring to nearly the original Österrichring layout?

If you check the Motorsport Spielberg facebook page you’ll find some pictures of development at the Red Bull Ring.
The areas concerned are at Turn 1 and Turn 2(Remus)
The development work at turn 1 is very curious as it shows a new chicane being built and heading off onto the old circuit.
