The ALO-HAM pairing will always be a more competitive pairing than a ludicrous ALO-KIMI pairing. Kimi is consistent and pulls out great passes but HAM is just raw speed and they managed to end up even at the end. Oh and having read HAM saying that having Fernando coming up behind him, was like having a BULL chasing you down, really does put things into perspective. Sure, ALO is not the fastest at qualifying but, race-pac whise… the guy is a beast! /]
:), well but wasn’t Kimi considered _the fastest_ in F1 in his Mclaren days?? Faster than everybody else, even faster than the almighty Michael. Remember his Q1 at Monaco in 2005? – 0,46 something seconds faster than Alonso alone!
So, where have Kimis speed really gone, has he just “turned into consistency”?
