What was Hublot to F1 after all? What will happen to them?
Hublot? I always thought Tag Heuer was the official time keeper?
LG is the technology partner. I don’t think that LG will retire from F1 just for not having their logo on the timing tables. But then again, I’m not sure about anything. I always thought F1 had a official timekeeper which was only a timekeeper.
I retract my previous comment and decide I need to do some more research before claiming I know everything… :P
Joe Saward says on his blog that Rolex will indeed replace Hublot and Official Timekeeper and Official Timepiece for F1. http://joesaward.wordpress.com/2012/12/05/rolex-becomes-f1-timekeeper/
Sorry, my bad
Why do all these news reports just regurgitate the PR bolex? Do Joe and the kids at Autosport get a free watch out of it?
