    So, I’m a bit puzzled.

Will F1 use the new ‘Wing’ with Abbey as T1 or the old with Copse?

Info is misleading, with the FIA-site says Copse and f1.com says Abbey.

I was aware that the new “Wing” was going to be used, the idea of it was to keep the F1, and, of course, to improve the facilities.

The FIA website has not been updated. The Grand Prix will start from the straight alongside the new Silverstone Wing. The Wing’s entire purpose for existing is to keep the Grand Prix at the circuit. MotoGP are using it, too. Although because the MotoGP riders complained, the BRDC had that fantastic bump on the entry to Abbey smoothed out.

Shame about the Bump there, but great to have the new pit complex for the GP.
