I’m not talking about him as a journalist. He’s fine and I enjoy his “analysis” articles; though they’re basically just the race in story prose form.
However he’s not very good with his technical stuff. There are quite a few technical non-facts that appear in his writing. While I don’t expect every journalist out there to hold an engineering degree; or to even completely understand the technical aspects of the sport, I’m not 100% comfortable with the way he writes his technical “facts” into his articles. If someone who wasn’t very good with F1 technical stuff read it, they would naturally just accept what he’s writing as fact. In effect, while I know he doesn’t intend to, and that he means no malice, but he is kind of misleading the general public with his technical non-facts
