    Target demographics?
I’m not sure I understand what you mean there.

@mwdriskell Yes, I do live in the US, although not in the South. Maybe Speed is included as part of the more basic cable packages more frequently down where you are, whereas motor racing isn’t all that popular where I am (New York City area). All I know is that whenever I’ve tried to get someone interested in F1 in the past, they almost never turned out to have Speed included with their cable package. NBC Sports, however, is more common around here (I think).

@mwdriskell SPEED was just as much of a “Paid Station” as NBCSportsNet is. Other then a few races a year (which will continue under the NBC banner) I don’t think F1 has ever had it’s full season Broadcast on “non-pay” channels in the USA.

Personally NBCSN is on the same $65 70some channel “Basic+” tier that SPEED is on for me, just because your cable provider does things differently that doesn’t mean every one in the USA does it that way.

Heck the list of sports channels I get on my Basic+ package is rather awesome.
    ESPN
    ESPN2
    ESPNews
    ESPNClassic
    Golf Channel
    SportsNet New York
CSN Philly (was split between CSN & FSN until Comcast bought NBC and took-over NBCSports)
    YES Network
    NFL Network
    NBCSN
    SPEED

Just upgraded for $7.00. Now I feel like a douche for making such a stink.
I LOVE MY F1 and nothing will take it away!!!!!!! @Fisha695 sounds like you guys have a good deal on basic, and yes I know not everyone in the USA does things the same way. Hell the other side of Houston is completely different from my side.
You can bet some people are getting screwed though. Just check out other F1 forums out there.
