    Do you have Virgin/Sky/Freeview?

    If so, it’s on the BBC Red Button, FP1 – 01:25am – 03:05am, FP2 – 05:25am – 07:05am
OR Online on BBC Sport F1 website

    I live in Sweden.
The only channels I can get is BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Entertainment and BBC World News.

But I can stream BBC One and Two. (and is there a proper channel called BBC Formula 1?)
Online, is just for people who live in the UK.

Come on the live blog, people always post links of internet streaming sites.

You can get it live on the BBC F1 website. Or on the Red Button. But it’s the same stream either way.

If you don’t mind paying a few Krona.. you can get a VPN account from http://www.proxyplayer.co.uk

I’m in NZ and I use these guys, and 99.9 percent of the time, it’s awesome :) I spent a while looking round for free ones, but the bandwidth is poor.

How do you use that Proxyplayer? What exactly does it do?

  • Profile picture of VettelS VettelS said 2 years, 1 month ago:

    Hotspot Shield is also good.

@Polishboy Step by step instructions are provided. But in essence, you download a client that sits in your systray, a zip is sent to you by proxyplayer with some settings files in it. You put those files in a folder, boot up the client, and hit connect.

When you’ve done that, you’re connected to another machine in the UK, and you are effectively surfing the net from the UK.

The above is called a VPN, or Virtual Private Network.

This is not to be confused with a Proxy Server, which in my experience, doesn’t allow you to watch live events on the Beeb, but you can watch iPlayer on demand programs and a number of others. VPN allows you to do more or less anything you want, using a UK internet connection, which is why I keep my account active.

http://www.speedtv.com streams FP1 and FP3 with no commentary. I think those work outside the US too.

though http://hotspotshield.com/ looks worth a try too, says it’s free… which usually means the bandwidth is much less reliable.

OneHD – the dedicated Australian sports channel – has live streaming. It’s not working at the moment, and you might need an Australian IP to access it, but it’s both free and legal.

    Here you guys: http://www.myp2pforum.eu/threads/44758-Watch-BBC-One-and-BBC-Two-easy-way

    Download the client.
    Works brilliantly

Speed’s stream works fine, no proxies or anything needed. Plus, no commentary, so you don’t have to pull your hair out every time someone says something stupid or doesn’t shut up for team radio…
