Does anyone else not like the bit where they broadcast the race winners radio at the end of the race every time?
It’s good when the driver hasn’t won in a while, or it was a really close race and they are feeling genuine elation, or perhaps want to take a stab at someone (i.e. Webber – Silverstone 2010), but most of the time, particularly with Vettel its a rather fake sounding “Yes, good job boys, we really pushed throughout the weekend and we did it.” bit of patronising drivel.
The radio is there to give a clearer picture of what is happening in the cockpit, the winner being happy is a given. I want to hear the radio of someone who’s race didn’t quite work out, like Lewis in Malaysia.
