After the relative drought of crashes up until after Spain, but with the plethora of crashes we’ve seen in other categories this year, I was going to write an article on my blog about if 2011 is a dangerous year for motorsport. Sadly, with exams and what-not I never got the chance, but I think that Perez’s crash in Monaco and McNish’s at Le Mans have both shown the fans that this sport is very dangerous indeed, and not just about the glamourpusses that turn up in the paddock for the free champagne. I just hope that we don’t say anymore big ones this year.
