I don’t think there’ll be a match for 3rd place – I reckon Keith designed the competition to go throughout the whole January (1-16 1/16 finals, 17-24 1/8 finals, 25-28 1/4 finals, 29-30 1/2 finals, and 31 the finale).

It always amazes me to see how Prost in unpopular and not remembered. I guess he was so unspectacular and clinical that he didn’t strike people’s imagination. I don’t want to start a Senna/Prost debate again but gosh, if you put Senna in the top four, you HAVE to put Prost.

jihelle, I originally didn’t have Prost in because I thought maybe he would be unfairly pitted against a very strong candidate like Fangio and lose out. But I don’t think that will happen until the semis. Certainly I feel he was the best of all time.

I’d agree with Icthyes in that a lot of peoples choices are not necessarily their own top 4, but because they may not make it to the final. There may be a Senna vs Prost before the second rounds are over leading to us all be wrong!

Its interesting reading the comments for the articles so far, I think the new sign up to vote policy has made the votes less biased and therefore fairer. After today, I don’t think Senna will whitewash it like I thought he would

But I think Schumacher should win it. And I’ve never been a particular fan of his.
