Hey guys,
I am starting up a new PS3 F12010 Championship, the “Hardcore Cup.”

-All driving aids will be banned.

-50% Race Distance

-Car performance: Equal

-Full Damage

-Tyre wear on

-Fuel Sim on

-15 min qualy

-Full penalties

The goal will be to get 2 races per week with a time that works for most regions (US, Asia, Australia, UK, etc)

Proposed track list:

Australia
Canada
Turkey
Malaysia
Spa
Monaco
Valencia
Silverstone
Japan
Brazil

As of now, there are a full 11 places available. Please respond with your PS3 name plus your preferred car.

Indeed, there are several others at the moment, most of which are coming to a close.

If you will look closely, you will see that The Hardcore Cup has a rather unique set of rules in that it basically bans all driver aids for a much greater challenge to the participants.

Guys,
I just want to say that last night I did about 10 races where TC and ABS were turned OFF. Even with damage OFF, the racing was SO MUCH BETTER. Without the assists, you’re screwed if you bump someone. Not only will the car you bump lose track position, but the car that does the bumping will probably lose even more. It really evens things out in a way that I can’t really describe. It was a very positive experience. I also think that it naturally drops the “bashers” towards the back of the field.
