While I know that testing can be hard to read, how do you think the teams stand as of now, all things considered (e.g.: pure pace, reliability, pace in the wet, ease on tires, etc.)?
Here’s my list:
1. Red Bull
2. Ferrari
3. Renault
4. McLaren
5. Williams
6. Mercedes
7. Toro Rosso
8. Sauber
9. Force India
10. Lotus
11. Virgin
12. HRT

6. Mercedes
7. Force India

In sheer speed I would say RB and Ferrari are in front but as for the ability to win a race I’d say Renault and Mercedes. What Alonso said about multiple tyre stops is very telling. He knows they’re fast but he realizes speed may not be the thing to have this year.

It’s pretty evident that Lewis and Jenson are bricking it. Unless they’re call everyones bluff ;)

Up Front: Ferrari, Red Bull
Top Midfield: McLaren, Renault, Williams
Midfield: Mercedes, Force India, Sauber
Lower Midfield: Sauber, Lotus
Rear: Virgin
then the safety car, then the marshalls, then the crowd, oh and then maybe HRT

6th March 2011, 18:28 at 6:28 pm #162615OllieParticipantI predict Ferrari and Red Bull will be miles ahead of the pack in Australia.
I would love for Toro Rosso to mix it with the big boys this seasons with their double floored rocket :P.
I have a feeling Williams will get the odd podium this year as well.
Mclaren and Merc will both struggle in the midfield until mid-season.
Renault for me are the hardest to predict, hopefully quick nick can use his pirelli knowledge to spring a few surprises.
Lotus to be quicker than FI.
P.S. new here, hey everyone
