Is it just me that’s noticed that every single shot of every single launch this season has the Pirelli tyres so perfectly aligned? I’m sure Bridgestone didn’t demand this…
I have noticed this – but I think Bridgestone did demand the same. Just browsed a few 2010 launches and they all have bridgestone on the top and potenza on the bottom
I’m sure I saw one with them on the side of the tyre. I would look for it, but that would require effort which I’m rather short of right now!
Seems like little effort for plenty of publicity!
I wouldn’t be surprised if they did request that. Anyone rememver that HRT had one of their tyres on backwards at their launch last year (could have been the right rear)?
@GeeMac
It wouldn’t surprise me if that was simply the ineptitude of HRT :p
Looks like they set the precedent for the rest of the year then! Oh, I shouldn’t be so cruel on them I guess!
Here’s the picture, one of them is on the wrong way!

It really is “no typical”! :P
I wouldn’t be surprised if Pirelli and Bridgestone demand this, but I’d have thought the teams would want it like that as well.
It all looks very neat and tidy. If I was Bridgestone last year I may have been glad of an upturned wheel from HRT!
I don’t know why i’m so harsh on them, they came 11th with no testing…but it’s just so easy.
Hispania are a joke. They make the sport look bad. They will never score a single, unless they’re sold to someone who has the funding to do it properly. Unfortunately though, they’ve got Glock- and he’s a damn good driver.
Hispania don’t have glock!?!?!? That would be Virgin!
Oops, my bad- I’ve just been reading the Virgin Wikipedia article. Anyway, all of my other points still stand :D
