If last season’s anything to go by,
    Button will trounce him again
Hopefully his love life won’t be so ruinous,
The chap seems so happy with Shania Twain!

Although Button was champ, many gave him the snub
Preferring young Lewis, but: Aye, there’s the rub!
Impetuous LH got hot under the collar
While Jense delivered every cent on each dollar

Steph: what a great idea you had for a thread
really, the best topic I’ve seen since the one ’bout sliced bread!

I’d still say that Lewis is better than Jense,
A view that I’d argue is concurred by most.
And now I’ve said that, if I have any sense,
I’ll bail before I get lynched for this post.

There once was a man named Hamilton
Who grew up to be Ron’s favoured son.
    But he would occasionally stray
    Into Felipe
And so it was Button who won.

There’s nary a doubt Lewis has the raw power
When he’s on, there’s no match
    He’s my favourite to watch
As he mows down competition – like a gardener his flowers

That last line perhaps was a little disheveled
But you know what I mean
    Though my poetry be lean
‘Rhyming F1 is fun!’ is about my level : )

Everyone says that Lewis was a disaster
yet there wasn’t that much of a difference in scores
but JB was so good he was the master
it’s just perception and media that laws.

(ok that was rubbish but I felt sorry for Hamilton and thanks @Maciek)

Why so quick to rush to the defence
Of a man who showed no reverence
For other drivers with his tactics so pusillanimous
That he could hardly be called magnanimous?

  • Profile picture of Deleted User said 1 year, 3 months ago:

    Because it’s just too much
    despite his wild touch
when it came to almost everyone
his reputation shouldn’t now be gone.

I`ve never been a fan of the Ham
But drive a car he certainly can
Ferrari dont need a new man
Its their car that needs a good plan

Yes, soon we’ll see how the newest horse prances
Sadly Felipe found out how a spring bounces
Since then he’s been a tad slow I fear
His career with the red team? The end is near.

The thing about the Prancing Horse,
Is that they’ve loads of cash.
So they spend and spend until, of course,
    One of their drivers crash.

    But why can’t you see
    Their faults you should forgive;
    They’re the best in history,
And still have loads to give.

Ferrari, Ferrari – oh why do you tarry
To give your fans something to cheer for?
Fernando, you tell us, is faster (that bas*ard!)
Hope this year won’t be a disaster

Oh dear McLaren – not much better you’re farin’!
Great drivers you have and resources galore
Yet the Bulls for two years have tallied more score
I think we all know if you persist in failing, Lewis’ agents will advise him on bailing

    Im a Schumacher fan
He will always be the man
He`s able to win with his knowledge and skill
And leave the others standing stock still
