Not content with the fuss they create every time the Melbourne Grand Prix comes around, this year the Victorian Government are now looking for compensation after the event has been run. The organisers’ chief executive Andrew Westcott has made claims such as “We pay for a product, we’ve got contracts in place, we are looking at those very, very seriously because we reckon there has probably been some breaches”
His statement comes after fans complained about the lack of noise the new F1 cars produced over the race weekend, claiming the event was duller that it had even been before. It seems you just cannot please some people, if it’s not one thing it’s another. Not a good approach to take while a contract extension is up for renewal.
