    Eddie’s fantastic, he and DC form a great duo, the sensible guy and the cocky guy. I for one loved the banter they had on the scooters (“Yellow is my colour”). Yeah, sure he can sometimes be a bit – eccentric, but if you had two sensible guys agreeing with each other all the time, the show wouldn’t feel right.

    I always think of EJ like Ian Wright, he added some flair and exuberance and ever since Wright left the BBC football panel, the BBC football coverage has been a bit…. stale.

    I have to agree that I enjoy Eddie in small doses. He *does* seem to flip flop a lot, but the color he brings to the trio makes for a nice dynamic. The one thing that took me a while to get used to was Jake. For so long he came across as being chosen to fill the role of drawing in the younger crowd, but being an everyman. And for that he gave me the impression of not really belonging and not being knowledgeable enough. Slooooowly I’ve started to warm up to him as he’s felt more and more like he belongs with the other two.
