Not much has changed since last year:

    1. Michael Schumacher
    2. Sebastian Vettel (+1)
    3. Fernando Alonso (-1)
    4. Kimi Räikkönen
    5. Lewis Hamilton
    6. Jenson Button
    7. Mika Häkkinen
    8. Felipe Massa
    9. Juan-Pablo Montoya
    10. Mark Webber (new entry)

David Coulthard is the driver to make way for Webber.

    8. Montoya
    9. Häkkinen
    10. Massa

The only changes to my list have come at the bottom.

Massa has slipped down the list a bit due to his poor performances recently. I have also removed Kubica – he drove very well, but I think I was judging him on one good season (2010) rather than on his career as a whole, where he often struggled to beat Heidfeld. Montoya is his replacement.

Up at the top – Raikkonen was one of the top racers in the first half of the decade, challenging Schumacher. I placed him 4th last year and his successful return has only strengthened his hand.

Alonso and Vettel were both amazing this season, but my memory’s not so bad that I’d remove Schumacher from the #1 spot.

Bumping this up. Get your votes in, folks! :)

    The interesting battles so far:
    1. Vettel v. Alonso – Alonso is still ahead, but Vettel’s a lot closer compared to last year.
    2. Raikkonen v. Hamilton – Kimi’s first year back is having a marginal good effect on his standing this year – he’s further ahead of Lewis compared to last year.
    3. Hakkinen v. Montoya v. Massa – Not as much love for Mika and JPM compared to the past two years, as their last races fade further into memory. Massa running them VERY close.
    4. Barrichello v. Webber v. Kubica – Rubens is getting a lot of love this year, and is currently 10th (compared to 11th the past two years). Kubica is suffering the retirement effect similar to Hakkinen and Montoya.

@Journeyer I thought long and hard about it, he might return next year at Massa’s expense!
