I’m surprised nobody has yet mentioned the split-livery 1999 BAR, or indeed any of the X-wing cars from early 1998.

I kinda liked the Walrua-nose Williams, but I wish someone would revist the single-pillar idea Tyrrell used in 1997, that looked really nice.

I could never decide about the Brawn. The car itself looked nice, but it was hard to look beyond the horrible livery. Likewise, the angular nose on this year’s Mercedes is pretty nasty to look at, especially since the silver livery is nowhere near as nice as the McLaren silver – the McLarens looked great until they started having to add more red. The two colours really clash badly.

I don’t agree with the Ferrari “Spazzaneve” being an ugly car. It engendered a long line of succesful cars such as the 312T, T2, T3. Now, this one was really ugly: http://www.histomobile.com/histomob/internet/1211/1361001.jpg

Really didn’t get Renaults last design. Yellow, orange and white? No thanks! However this year it’s something else. I got a great picture of Petrov and Kubica at Club Corner this year.

The six wheels looked better on the front (Tyrell) than in the back (March or Williams)
