What would your all time favourite driver-constructer line up,from any year with any car,or from decades, mine has to be Lewis Hamilton in a Schumy Ferrari(The02″one prob)
20th July 2011, 18:36 at 6:36 pm #175048AnonymousInactiveI’d love to see Alonso and Stewart in a team, driving a classic 90’s Williams.
20th July 2011, 18:41 at 6:41 pm #175049James_mcParticipantClark and Webber in the 1996/7 Williams
20th July 2011, 19:00 at 7:00 pm #175050IcthyesParticipantTakuma Sato and Ukyo Katayama in an RB7
20th July 2011, 19:07 at 7:07 pm #175051McLarenFanJammParticipantSenna and Gilles in the 98 McLaren
20th July 2011, 19:15 at 7:15 pm #175052NeusalzParticipantRosberg and Kubica in the MP4-23
20th July 2011, 19:16 at 7:16 pm #175053TommyBParticipantHamilton and Vettel in an RB8
20th July 2011, 19:34 at 7:34 pm #175054AnonymousInactiveThis is tough. I’d say Alonso and Gilles at Ferrari. I was very close to saying Massa and Alesi at the red team though.
20th July 2011, 21:35 at 9:35 pm #175055Juan Pablo HeidfeldParticipantMontoya in the Ferrari or McLaren this year, I think he’d be very exciting!
20th July 2011, 21:41 at 9:41 pm #175056Ned FlandersParticipantJames- for some reason Webber in a Newey era Williams just seems right! Then again, we all thought he’d flourish at Williams when he went in 2005, but he bombed.
I’d love to see Juan Manuel Fangio driving today, maybe with Red Bull. As brilliant as he was back in the 1950’s, you’d suspect that talent levels have raised so much in the last 60 years that he’d probably be the slowest driver on the grid. I suppose we’ll never know…
20th July 2011, 21:56 at 9:56 pm #175057BullfrogParticipant’95 Ferrari, Senna and Alonso.
20th July 2011, 22:05 at 10:05 pm #175058safeeuropeanhomeParticipant1986 Benetton B186 – Kobayashi and Gilles Villeneuve, would be spectacular. Could also swap in Keke Rosberg, Alesi or Montoya.
1978 JPS Lotus – Clark and Stewart
20th July 2011, 22:43 at 10:43 pm #175059electroliteParticipantI’d say Kobayashi and Perez in the C30 is a pretty tasty combo as it is. Perhaps in the F2008 and be fighting right at the front.
20th July 2011, 22:57 at 10:57 pm #175060TodfodParticipantThere is only one that springs naturally to my mind…
Alonso and Hamilton in an RB7.
20th July 2011, 23:34 at 11:34 pm #175061electroliteParticipantTodfod that would be absolutely savage.
