Worst Driver: Schumacher – 16th and more than a lap down from 5th on the grid…
Best Team: McLaren – as Ferrari and Lotus both had botched pit-stops, Red Bull had Webber’s KERS die on them again, Williams did well but still got beaten by a Force India and so on…
Worst Team: Mercedes, who else?!
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on Hulkenberg / Button on Raikkonen
Best Funny-moment: Vettel’s pointless anger with Lewis after the overtake (no, the hats weren’t funny)
Most Surprising Result: Massa and Button – wouldn’t have rated them so far up in the top 10 before the race.
Least Surprising Result: Alonso – getting a podium out of a somewhere-in-the-top-10 start, once again.
Special Mention to: Alonso, Hulkenberg, Maldonado, Senna
Race Rating: 8/10

World feed rating: 9/10 – Visually this was a brilliant GP. Those heli-shots and the placement of the cameras, well done.18th November 2012, 22:38 at 10:38 pm #215318UTBowler0407ParticipantBest Driver: Hamilton
Worst Driver: Schumacher
Best Team: Ferrari
Worst Team: Mercedes; they’re in danger of moving down to 6th in the WCC (and no points since Singapore!)
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on Hulkenberg
Best Funny-moment: Nothing really
Most Surprising Result: Grosjean recovering from his spin to get a decent finish
Least Surprising Result: Vettel and Horner whining, as always. And Ferrari teams orders.
Special Mention to: Massa, Button, Alonso

– Was the only driver able to take the fight to Vettel, and snatch the race lead from this weekend’s hot favourite for the race win.
Worst Driver: Michael Schumacher
– Squandered a fairly good qualifying position and ending up well outside of the points.
Best Team: McLaren
– Both cars were on pace, despite Button’s issue in qualifying. Other teams didn’t seem as on the ball as they were: RBR let Webber down, Ferrari botched Alonso’s pit-stop.
Worst Team: Mercedes
– Consensus is that the W03 is a dog of a car. You have Rosberg qualifying 17th, and Schumacher finishing the race 16th. They should not be running that low.
Best Overtake: Button on Raikkonen
– Expertly judged by both drivers, and accomplished in a clean, firm but fair fashion.
Best Funny-moment: The Pirelli stetsons. The hats were funny. I think.
Most Surprising Result: Button cleaving his way through the field in a very un-Button-like fashion. Never thought I would see such controlled aggression from him, and for the sake of McLaren’s 2013 campaign, I do hope he keeps it up.
Least Surprising Result: Sad to say, Schumacher slithering down the order
Special Mention to: Vettel, Alonso, Massa, Hulkenberg, Grosjean
Race Rating: 10/10
World Feed Rating: 9/1018th November 2012, 22:48 at 10:48 pm #215320mnmracerParticipantBest Driver: Sebastian Vettel, closely followed by Lewis Hamilton
Worst Driver: Narain Karthikeyan; no matter who’s behind, he always finds a way to create issues
Best Team: McLaren; best car
Worst Team: Mercedes; what the hell happened to them?
Best Overtake: Perez on some one of the Williams’
Best Funny-moment: Americans singin the lyrics ‘My country of Thee’ to ‘God Save the Queen’
Most Surprising Result: Schumacher down in 13th place. What the hell happened?
Least Surprising Result: Alonso finding new ways to screw over his team mate
Special Mention to: Felipe Massa; no matter what is thrown at him, he’s the better Ferrari driver this 2nd half of the season.
Race Rating: 10/10World feed rating: 11/10 for the helicopter pilot!

Worst Driver: Kobayashi, practising for next year by seeming like he wasn’t there at all.
Best Team: Ferrari, classic bit of rule-bending and some good race pace.
Worst Team: Mercedes. Rubbish.
Best Overtake: Kimi getting Hulkenberg was the best for me, but Button did some great moves – classy battle between him and Raikkonen.
Best Funny-moment: the midfield Crazy Train early on
Most Surprising Result: Webber breaking down
Least Surprising Result: Alonso ending up on the podium
Special Mention to: Massa and Senna – not bad for a number 2. They ended up in their rightful place but were both very quick in the race.
Race Rating: 9/10. My new favourite Grand Prix, looking forward to next year’s one already.

Race Rating: 9/10Regarding Mercedes, it is quite obvious to anyone who needed anymore evidence, that the team of Brackley is completely incapable of actually developing a car to make it faster. Ever since China they seem to have had a series of downgrades rather than upgrades.

19th November 2012, 12:33 at 12:33 pm #215330Antonio NarteaParticipantRegarding Mercedes, it is quite obvious to anyone who needed anymore evidence, that the team of Brackley is completely incapable of actually developing a car to make it faster. @kingshark – I think they called quits on this season when Hamilton’s move became a certainty. They’re not throwing another penny at the W03 – a car that is fundamentally wrong and they are 100% dedicated to developing the W04. It’s the most decent explanation for why they keep going backwards race after race since Singapore.
And come to think of it, maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea. They were stuck in 5th in the WCC anyway, couldn’t charge after Lotus and Sauber still need to score 13 points at Interlagos in order to pass them in the standings (something which I doubt it’ll happen). So it’s pretty much just the same outcome for them whether they score or not. The only thing they should be blamed for is looking absolutely ridiculous on track, trashing a decent season for Rosberg and staining Schumacher’s reputation and his career end…
