It is commonly believed (and quoted) in several other forums that Vettel’s race victories are mostly in modern Asian circuits and that Hamilton has a better record in Europe. In fact, that is not true at all.

While Vettel does have an overwhelming superiority of Asian GP wins over Hamilton ( 20 to 5 to date), he has a slightly better record in Europe as well. Vettel has won 12 out of 56 races in Europe (14 of those races in non-Red Bull cars) whereas Hamilton has won 11 out of 61.

Therefore, the correct way of expressing this comparison is that Hamilton’s record in Asia is poor by comparison.

A good point – people always have a way of twisting statistics and language to suit their own needs or opinions.

North America though! Hamilton has that continent wrapped up for a couple of seasons at least! :)

It’s Alonso with the most European wins on the current grid, with 17.

True, but from close to twice as many races as Vettel.
