    Here’s a great view of how the remodelled Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City will look for the Mexican Grand Prix:

    It’s interesting to compare this back to the original plans – turn ten, for instance, is definitely tighter than the original drawing indicated it would be.

    The thing I find surprising is 2 things:

    • Is that normal practise to lay asphalt in patches like seen in the opening corners shown in the video? It seems to me that this may lead to uneven patches
    • Mexicans really love their soccer, so many pitches!

    I’m not entirely sure about turn 12’s (reference) run-off area (see 1:15 in the video), might cause some issues when either there is a high-speed off like Sainz in Russia, or when a driver takes too much speed into the corner. Apart from that, yeah, the circuit looks alright, although I will never get used to tarmac run-off areas.

    Can’t tell much of this apart from Korea to be honest. At least the grandstands will be filled (I hope).
