The E20 was also probably the best looking car on the grid last season

Even better than the McLaren MP4-27, which had no stepped nose?

I find that hard to believe.

Early in the season I’d concede that point @prisoner-monkeys , but the E20 really did grow on me. Lotus’ step solution was quite elegant I thought.

Perhaps, but not as elegant as having no step at all. Hell, even the Marussia looked better.

Not quite so sure about that. The Marussia’s nose had issues of its own, the buldge it developed underneath the nose was far from pretty.

From memory I did vote for the MP4-27 as the best looking car in Keith’s poll after all of the launches, but that doesn’t change the fact that the E20 is a good looking thing.

@geemac agree about their nose. Would have to say though that a lot of the aesthetic appeal comes from the fact that the livery colours are dark in that area of the car and so the step is not distinguished as much as a lighter liveried car. It probably wasn’t that much different a solution compared to other teams visually.

    anybody seen this???

  • Profile picture of Prisoner Monkeys Prisoner Monkeys said 4 months, 3 weeks ago:

@abdurahman – Yeah, that was uploaded months ago. I remember it well, because I first saw it on another forum. The annoucement was timed to coincide with an announcement of Raikkonen’s 2013 plans, with a website called “What Will Kimi Do Next?”. Everyone on the forum decided that it meant Raikkonen had bought Mark Webber out of his Red Bull contract and would race for them in 2013. Then the video was released, and everyone was bitterly disappointed.

ahh, I was wondering why I saw it titled “what will kimi do next”. makia clothing is pretty interesting, they have ads featuring scraggly bearded nordic men in smart parkas wearing glock sidearms?!

I have no idea. I haven’t seen any of their ads.
